The highlight of the event unquestionably centered on the presence of Sallie Krawcheck, the CEO and co-founder of Ellevest. As a luminary in the financial industry, Krawcheck has devoted her career to economically empowering women. Her keynote address was enlightening and motivating, underscoring her resolute mission: to empower women financially and narrow the gender wealth gap. Krawcheck's now-famous words, "Nothing bad happens when women have more money," encapsulate the transformative potential of financial independence for women. Following her speech, the event culminated in a captivating conversation between Sallie and Danielle Shoots, a dedicated WFCO trustee and a dynamic entrepreneur leading several thriving financial ventures.

This Annual Luncheon transcends being a mere event; it is a catalytic force for change, and we eagerly anticipate its continued impact on our community. Indeed, when women are financially empowered, society as a whole reaps the benefits. We wholeheartedly encourage everyone to champion the mission of the Women's Foundation of Colorado and engage in the crucial work of closing the gender wealth gap—it is a cause well worth supporting.
